GENERAL GUIDELINES

• Please send submissions as a PDF to our email theampquarterly@gmail.com (Please note that we may transition to using Submittable in the future).
  • Please review the issue theme and genre guidelines in mind when writing and submitting! You do not HAVE to include the two specific words in your writing. In fact, we encourage you not to do so. Think about the feelings, vibes, and burning sensations each word gives you. Your pen will figure the rest out, we hope.
  • The subject of your email should be the name of the author and the genre of work(s).
  • We encourage writers also to include a cover letter and bio in the body of the email, the latter of which will be published alongside their work(s) if accepted. In the cover letter, please also briefly describe why your piece ties in to our quarterly theme.
• We do not consider previously published works.
• Works that perpetuate sexism, racism, or any form of intolerance and discrimination will be disqualified from consideration.
• We do not consider works that are generated by AI.
• We accept edited versions of previous submissions on the basis that the edits are significant and meaningful.
• We allow and encourage simultaneous submissions, but please email us if your work is accepted elsewhere (and congrats!).
• We are writers too, and understand how agonizing it is to wait for results! Thus, we strive to respond to submissions within two weeks. If you have not heard from us after 30 days, feel free to inquire about the status of your submission.
• Unfortunately, we are not a paying market at this time.
